Wave Rock Retreat

What an awesome weekend!!! 56 ladies attending the Wave Rock Scrapbooking Retreat this year in Hyden, WA. I was one of the tutors along with Alli Patterson and Sharon Manning. We each taught 2 classes and had great feedback for the ladies.

I was able to join in on two of the classes. This is my layout from Sharon's Solitude class.

And then I was able to scrap two more layouts in social scrapping time.

What an Honour

Yesterday I was asked by Rowena Field of Willro&co to join her Creative Team! Rowena is a Digital designer and has created some amazing kits! I will be also working along side Sally Clifford, Tracey Smith , Karen Latham, and Terrie Logan. We are all Christian ladies who love to share our faith and love for Jesus. As part of this role, I will be uploading my digital layouts at A Cherry on Top, Faith Sisters, Scrap of Faith, Country Scrapbooking, Digi Shop Talk and Blue Bazaar. These are the stores Willro&co's kits can be purchased at.
I am loving digital lately...mainly because I have been trying not to use all my photos...but I also love it how I can create a layout in such a short amount of time and it is completely mess-free!

Tomorrow I am heading off to Hyden to the Wave Rock Scrapbooking Retreat! YAY!! I better get off here and go and get organised!

One for Murray

I thought it was time to do a layout about Murray. This is him out in the Kalgoorlie bush on one of his goat shooting trips back in 2005. I love this photo of him relaxing in his 'natural habitat'. It's a place he can truely relax and unwind.

This is an 8"x8" digital album for my sister that I will eventually print out. I have left the journaling spots blank for them to fill in.

If you are wondering why I am doing only digital layouts lately, it is because I am going to the Scrappin' Outback retreat next weekend and don't want to use my photos cause I don't have many left to scrap...grrr.

Loving Digital

I did another digital before I went out last night. This layout is about what I want to be remembered for.

I just love this kit. The embellishments are by Krystal H from Faith Sisters and the note paper and background paper is by Mary-anne Buchanan from her Terra Firma kit.

Ella's Album - Flowers

I am making a digital 'piece-a-cake' album for Jackie and Graeme about Ella's first days.

The kits are from "The Bella Collection" from the Shabby Shoppe.

2 More Quick Digi's

I have just purchased two kits from Shabby Shoppe to make Jackie's birth announcements and a little album for her...they are sooo cute! Here are the previews if you want a sneak HERE and HERE I have just had a little play with one of the album pages. You get 12 8x8 layouts so I just have to add photos and journaling and other bits...and then the other kit has papers, alphas, embellishments etc.
Here is one layout I did with a friends daughter just as a trial run. All I did was add the photos and the title...EASY!

CSB Retreat layouts

Well I had a big day of scrapping yesterday....and BOY it was HOT! I managed to get these layouts done while having a great time with the other girls.

This first one is of our day in Busselton for Australia Day.

And another layout...just because I love this photo.

This is Tayla when she was 6 months old (she is now 10) with her Granny.

My friend Lissa had done a page with this 'She' quote on it and I loved it so jotted it down to use....Love it.

So now I have to get busy taking photos so I have some photos to scrap at Karen's retreat at the end of March!
