Some Holiday Layouts

I am on holidays at the moment staying at Mum's and managed to get a couple of layouts done last night. I am hoping to catch up with some scrapping buddies while I am here ...but seem to be running out of time. Lissa, Lisa and Karen, if you are reading this...we NEED to scrap!

This first layout is photos from the SoF retreat...I chose photos where we were all laughing as that is what we seemed to do for most of the weekend.

and this layout says that my girls are the best gift I could ever receive as they bring me so much joy. I got this idea from Kerryn.

I have brought enough photos for 11 more layouts....so hopefully in the next 5 days I will get a chance to scrap again.

Yay..More Layouts Done

Last night I scrapped with Amy again...we are going to try and at least scrap together once a week and will be starting out Craft Group next year...probably in one of our homes.

Back into Digi

Now that I am home I have been digi scrapping again...while Murray plays golf on the xbox. Last night I made 3 layouts from the Willro&Co new kit which will be released in 1 week and one today using Summer Driggs 'Energy' kit. I will upload the other 3 when the kit is released :)

Night with my Sister-in-Law

Both our hubbies were away so Mick and I had a scrap night last night and I stayed the night so I didn't have to drive home:)
I was able to do 4 layouts which I am wrapped with.
These first 2 were from a TLC kit I was given at the Scrap of Faith retreat.





The journaling in this Princess layout is from the 'His Princess' book we all received at the retreat. I am just loving it and will probably make some more layouts using the letters in it which are love letters form God to us written around Bible verses.

SoF Retreat Layouts

Well I didn't get much scrapping done at the retreat which is really not like me, but the heat and humity drained all the energy and inspiration out of me. I got 1 digitial layout and 2 double paper layouts done.

We all got given a different scrap pack and had to use only what was in it (plus bazzill) as a comp. My first kit was quite boyish so I swapped with Natalie...I like this one heaps more..

SoF Retreat Photos

I have been trying to get these photos on here for the past 3 days now and have just had the chance....
I had the most awesomest of weekends! I met a lot of my online friends from Scrap of Faith and we had the best time together scrapping, laughing, crying, worshiping and laughing some more.
I flew to Brissie from Melbourne on Thursday and stayed with Karen's daughter Sarah. We did a bit of shopping at Garden City on Friday and then headed to the retreat at 5pm where our arrival was not as I expected. We had been laughing in the car and when we pulled in we were at the point of laughter where you can't turn back and the snot and tears are flowing....I am sure everyone wondered why we were in such a state...so everytime someone looked at me I burst into laughter again...strange I know.
The retreat went until Sunday arvo then I stayed the night at Nat's house, went to DFO the next morning and then flew back to Melbourne.
