Clown Girl

I had a scrapping night with Amy and Lisa last night!! It's been a couple of months since we have been able to scrap together so it was great...although we didn't get much scrapping done...

I did get this very simple layout of Breezy done...

I Got Messy!

I was inspired last night after looking at Anthea's blog at THIS post and decided I would give the 'alpha background' a go..but it wasn't as easy or nice as I had hoped....I think it would work better with spray paint to get into those gaps nicer. I painted cream paint on first then sprayed over it with glimmer mist.I would like to try this again using a different technique at some stage....can you actaully get acid free spray paint??
Here is the alpha's placed on the kraft card before I started painting...great for all those chipboard alphas you can't make words out of!!
and the finished layout...
I used the Cosmo Cricket 'Girl Friday' range.

Happy and Carefree

I just fell inlove with this quickpage when I saw it today and just had to use it...
My journalling reads:
'We are now in the cold months and I look back on these photos of the girls having a ball at the beach and long for the warmer days. I am over being cold and not being able to get out and have fun without rugging up. Bring on summer I say!!'

A Guitar for a Lifetime

This layout is about my Mum and her guitar. She got this guitar when she was 14 and still has it at 60! She was 18 years old in these photos...do you ever wish you knew your parents when they were younger? I do...
Products are all from the Crate Paper 'Lillian' Collection :)
