Rollerskating Expedition

On the holidays I took the girls skating at their primary school but it was very short lived because we apparently over stepped the line with Mr Magpie and came into his territory...he was NOT happy! Note to self...when your children are getting attacked by magpies, stop laughing and try and help them!

God's Got Me...no matter what.

I just loved this photo when I saw it on one of Karen's layouts. It reminds me that God has my life in his control...as long as I try to live my life in a way that would please Him and obey Him....I believe I can trust Him with my life. He is the one who created me so He knows what is best for me :D I could try til I turned blue to live this life and succeed in life, but I know that without Jesus leading me and without His love and grace I would get nowhere.

Retreat Layouts

I had the most fabulous of weekends last weekend at the Wave Rock Retreat! I think there was over 40 ladies that attended and we all had a great time doing what we love to do best...create!
The classes were all great and I had great feedback about my classes. There were ladies going back and doing their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th layouts using my class designs so thats always a good sign ;)
I was able to do some layouts too while I wasn't teaching...here they are...

Getting All Excited!

Now that I have finished preparing for the Wave Rock Retreat (I am a tutor at this weekend) and I have all my photos for the classes printed, I can actually sit back and get excited now without being a tad stressed (only a tad). For the past week I have been fighting off a head cold/chest cold/conjuctivitis...ewww..I know! But I am topped up with antibiotics and should be fighting fit for the retreat. This time there will be 6 classes and a tutorial so it is jam packed with inspiration! I am planning on joining in on most of the classes and have my photos all ready and waiting in anticipation. Amy is coming with me too this time which will be sooo cool...as well as my mum...YAY! What a blast we will have....

And also!!! It is only 3 weeks until the Scrap of Faith Retreat in Brisbane!! I don't plan to paper scrap at that one, but Sal is bringing one of her spare laptops for me to use so I can digital scrapbook (don't want to lug my supplies across with me).

Wow...so many exciting things happening in the next few months...only 16 days until we head off on our holiday to Melbourne!

So next post will probably be with the layouts I completed at Wave Rock...so keep posted!

Scrapping Buddy!

Amy has just moved to our town with her beautiful family and are staying with us while they find a house. I am so excited about having my scrapping buddy back in my life! Last night I got one layout done...scraplifted off Amy ;)

We are in our last week of school holidays here. The girls are getting bored now, but I am still loving it. not having to do school stuff.
