Hey Birdie!

Murray took the girls camping on the weekend and didn't get any sleep so when he came home last night he went to be at 7pm...so I stayed up and scrapped :)

When I saw this range of papers by Kaiser I fell in love...so cute!! They are called 'Hey Birdie' and all I used to create this layout was 3 pieces of the patterned paper, a piece of kraft cardstock and some alphas. This layout was scraplifted from the May Kaiser workshop magazine...

June Sketch Challenge

Ingeborg released her June Sketch challenge from PageMaps today and I couldn't help myself and did it straight away :) I tipped mine on it's side cause I didn't have landscape photos to suit it.

I haven't been doing any scrapping lately, but I do have a new set of papers I want to use. Just got to print off some photos and get motivated :)

14 Years!!

We just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary on the 4th. YAY!! I love my man and I love my life!! Marriage just gets better and better!

Prima!!!

I am loving these Prima embroidered papers and flowers! They are so easy to use and don't need much more on your page because the background it so detailed and beautiful...all the sewing around the butterflies and border where already there!

You can buy these papers and flowers from Scrappin Outback, just email or phone Karen and she can send them out to you :) There are other colours and styles of prima flowers too. If you didn't want the bulk of the flowers in your albums you could make your layout into a canvas or shadow frame...yummmo!

This layout is about how proud I was of Tayla the night of her grade 7 graduation...my little girl then became a big highschool girl!

I am really enjoying having my scrapping gear out again!

Cupcake Purse!!

Isn't this just the cutest coin purse!

Ashlee has been wanting a coin purse for a while now and was drooling all over the ones in Karen's shop yesterday and going on and on about buying one but she had no money so I suggested making one...then I remembered a tutorial I had seen HERE.
It's 13cm x 10cm and sooo cute! It's lined with purple felt and has a cute 4" pink zip in the top :)
We are already thinking about what other designs we can make. Now to buy more felt and zips...

A Retreat Layout

I wasn't able to go to the Wave Rock Retreat in March, but when I saw this class Sharon Manning taught I just had to have the kit! Yesterday we spent the day in Hyden with Matt and Karen and I got to browse her amazing shop! There are soo many yummy papers and embellies there!
As soon as we got home last night I made up my kit..I love how it turned out. Thanks Sharon!
These papers are by Fancy Pants 'Vintage Valentine' range.
I have another layout to make to from the kit but need an idea first..it's a pocket layout so I need to figure out what I will use it for.


I have another cute set of papers I can't wait to use too...they are from the Crate Paper 'Paper Dolls' Collection.

and Again...

After last nights comment on my layouts being too simple I tried my hardest to spend some time making it more 'unboring'.
For the flowers I punched them out, inked the edges, curled them and then covered them in dimensional magic...then layered them and topped with bling.
I love this colour combo :)

I've just put this layout on a 12x12 canvas and it's hanging in my lounge...about time I updated my wall.

I'm Back...

Well that layout didn't take long...I love buying coordinating patterned paper and chipboard stickers...great for quick and easy layouts :) This layout is just 2 pieces of PP, a pack of chipbaord stickers/ribbon and alphas...oh and some bling...can't forget the bling :)

I did this layout for Ingeborg's April sketch challenge.

Now..shall I do another layout??

Two more for the weekend

Last night I was able to get 2 more layouts done. I had planned to do another one but wanted it to be special so went on the net to get inspired but didn't get any further cause I went on MSN and chatted with Lesley for ages :) Ah well..there is always this arvo :) and I have new papers I just bought at Country Scrapbooking...beautiful Kaiser ones called 'La-Di-Da' with cute birdies :D

So I am thinking I might have to put last nights layout aside and use my new papers.

Ashlee's Baptism...

I told Tay I did a layout about her and as she was looking at it she leaned over to her friend and whispered 'Mum can do better'...HAHA!!! She said it was too plain...so I told her that I like plain these days :D

I Finally Have Photos :D

Yesterday I got my Snapfish order in the mail which is enough photos for 9 layouts!!
So today I had the urge to scrap! Felt great too as I thought I didn't want to scrap anymore.

Tayla and Ashlee got baptised 2 weeks ago to make a declaration before their family and friends that they want to follow Jesus. This layout is of Tayla's baptism for her album. It was such a special day for us :)
