I Finally Have Photos :D

Yesterday I got my Snapfish order in the mail which is enough photos for 9 layouts!!
So today I had the urge to scrap! Felt great too as I thought I didn't want to scrap anymore.

Tayla and Ashlee got baptised 2 weeks ago to make a declaration before their family and friends that they want to follow Jesus. This layout is of Tayla's baptism for her album. It was such a special day for us :)

And our boy Angus...

Murray is going away for the weekend so I am thinking I might keep my scrap gear out and keep scrapping :) What a nice way to spend Easter.

March Sketch Challenge layout

For Ingeborg's March sketch challenge I used my new family photos and created a digital layout..need to print photos before I can paper scrap. HERE is the PageMaps sketch I used.

6x4" Scrapblogs

I had a play on Scrapblog last night...hadn't been on for a while, and came up with these little 6x4 cards using our new family photos. I love how this site has all the digital papers and embellishments on it...although now they have changed it so you have to earn credit and pay...but I got around that ;)

If only I had a credit card so i could buy some credit and make some cooler ones.

An Old Family Photo

We have a public holiday today and I had the urge to scrap...but had a problem...NO PHOTOS!!!!

I found this one I had in a frame. It's of our family back in 2006 and we really haven't had a nice family photo since so I am hoping to get the family dressed and head out bush today to get a new one...seeing I have a new hair cut now ;)

So here is my layout. I love this valentines paper range by Daisy Bucket Designs called 'Loves Me Loves me Not'

Edited to add- and here is the photo I took yesterday...yay...we have an updated photo at last :D

My Big Girls in Highschool

Tayla is loving highschool so much! I took this photo of her the day before school started. She is just so happy now!!

This layout is for another monthly sketch challenge for Ingeborg. HERE is the sketch. I chose to go digital this time :)

First for 2010

To keep me scrapping each month I have decided to do Ingeborg's PageMaps sketch challenge each month as I haven't been overly inspired lately. HERE is the sketch and below is my take on it.

I do have a few more sets of photos to scrap now that I am back from holidays so maybe this month I will get some more done.

Another Challenge Layout

I have had a go at this months Sketch Challenge over at Ingeborg's Scrapbooking Challenges. THIS was the sketch.

Using Cosmo Cricket 'The Boyfriend' range

And a quick layout with the photo I edited a couple of weeks ago...

Using Basic Grey 'Lime Rickey' range

I Scrapped!

Last night I scrapped for the first time since the Wave Rock Retreat! My friend Ingeborg from the SoF forum has started a new challenge blog so I had a go at this months sketch challenge.

This layout is about Ashlee and her new guitar :)

Wave Rock Retreat Layouts

I just had an awesome weekend away with 60 other keen scrappers. It was Scrappin' Outback's 5th birthday and 9th retreat and had a jam packed weekend full of scrapping, laughs and great food with heap of wonderful women.
Amy and I travelled up early Friday morning thinking we would be one of the first to arrive, but at 9am the place was already filling fast with some ladies already scrapbooking and others grabbing some stock before anyone else got in there first ;) Hopefully I can add some photos of the hall and shop to this post once Sharon gets back and emails me some..hint hint :)

I taught my 'Paper Embellishments' class on Friday arvo...
Feminine version using Crate Paper 'Lilian' collection

Boy version using Crate Paper 'Orbit'

On saturday arvo I taught my 'Those Things we Do' class...
Feminine version using Cosmo Cricket 'Early Bird'
I had a few ladies ask me what the font in the journalling was...you can download it HERE

Girl Version using Cosmo Cricket 'Girl Friday'

Masculine/Boy version using Cosmo Cricket 'The Boyfriend'

and Sunday arvo was my 'Power Scrapping' class which is where they scrapped 5 easy layouts in 2 hours.
Using October Afternoon 'Cherry Hill' collection

I was able to get some other layouts done too. This one is from Lis Cassey's 'Celebrate' class but I changed it to bush walking and used the gorgeous Cosmo Cricket 'Earth Love' collection...

Ashlee dressed as a clown for school...

The girls in Esperance on the holidays...

And at the Parker's farm about the bridge Tom build...

I ran out of photos by Saturday afternoon so Karen announced that I would scrap other peoples photos for $15 a page to go towards cancer research...that raised $45 yay!

It was such a lovely weekend and I loved meeting so many new ladies..hopefully we can get to know each other even better at future retreats :)

Clown Girl

I had a scrapping night with Amy and Lisa last night!! It's been a couple of months since we have been able to scrap together so it was great...although we didn't get much scrapping done...

I did get this very simple layout of Breezy done...
