Wave Rock Retreat is approaching :)

As you may have heard, our family is moving back to Esperance on the 24th of this month :) I made myself a rule that I wasn't allowed to start packing until I had done my retreat class layouts. I have finally finished and today have collected a heap of boxes from Kondinin so I can start packing...woohoo!

This retreat I am teaching 2 classes. The first one is called 'Pinwheels and Buntings' and is a single layout. Here are my sneak peaks...

And my second class is a double layout and includes up to 15 wallet sized photos and a pocket for memorabilia. The themes are Travel and The Zoo, but you can use any photos using this photo placement. I might do a birthday one too if I get time in the move.

Perth Zoo

We headed to Perth on the 12th of July to the zoo with the cousins. It was raining and cold but we had such a great time seeing all the different animals. Today its cold and miserable so I have been sitting at the computer chillaxing and created this digital layout about our trip. I will do it in paper as well..probably at the next Scrappin' Outback retreat which is from the 22-24th of October :D I am tutoring this time which I am really looking forward to as I missed the last one (more details on the retreat soon)

The girls and I had a big birthday card making day last week and I got inspired to make a layout when I saw these papers and diecuts. I have had them for about 18 months now :S About time I used them!

Hey Birdie!

Murray took the girls camping on the weekend and didn't get any sleep so when he came home last night he went to be at 7pm...so I stayed up and scrapped :)

When I saw this range of papers by Kaiser I fell in love...so cute!! They are called 'Hey Birdie' and all I used to create this layout was 3 pieces of the patterned paper, a piece of kraft cardstock and some alphas. This layout was scraplifted from the May Kaiser workshop magazine...

June Sketch Challenge

Ingeborg released her June Sketch challenge from PageMaps today and I couldn't help myself and did it straight away :) I tipped mine on it's side cause I didn't have landscape photos to suit it.

I haven't been doing any scrapping lately, but I do have a new set of papers I want to use. Just got to print off some photos and get motivated :)

14 Years!!

We just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary on the 4th. YAY!! I love my man and I love my life!! Marriage just gets better and better!

Prima!!!

I am loving these Prima embroidered papers and flowers! They are so easy to use and don't need much more on your page because the background it so detailed and beautiful...all the sewing around the butterflies and border where already there!

You can buy these papers and flowers from Scrappin Outback, just email or phone Karen and she can send them out to you :) There are other colours and styles of prima flowers too. If you didn't want the bulk of the flowers in your albums you could make your layout into a canvas or shadow frame...yummmo!

This layout is about how proud I was of Tayla the night of her grade 7 graduation...my little girl then became a big highschool girl!

I am really enjoying having my scrapping gear out again!
