Sewing?

I have decided to teach my girls to sew...I used to really enjoy sewing when I was a teen but haven't done fabric sewing since Tayla was a baby....these days it is on layouts :)
So my question to you is....What are some ideas of what I could teach them? And if you have any pattern links 'free' that would be lovely. I was thinking cushions, aprons, bags...etc...so what do you think? My email is in the sidebar if you have any suggestions..TA!

I am scraping the bottom of the barrel now with these photos..lol. I feel like scrapping but have no more photos so flowers will have to do...what next?

Need Photos and Papers

I am getting extremely low on photos now :( I spent ages going through my computer trying to find just one photo to print to scrap....I couldn't :( And no, I don't really want to scrap other peoples photos :)

Easter Saturday Scrapping

I had a lovely and restful day yesterday...I even got 3 layouts done.

This first one was using the scraps from my 3D Layering Effects class...its also the same design as my 'Love my Mum' layout in a recent post.

I got this photo off the Kepa Kurl site. They have full resolution photos of Esperance so I printed off this photo to scrap.

And this layout is about Murray's mum's wedding dress and how I wore it to their 40th wedding anniversary celebration. I even used my sewing machine on this layout...usually I am too slack to get it out and set it up :)

and some bad news :( I am nearly out of photos to scrap :(

Scrappin' Outback's Cool News

Scrappin' Outack has a new SHOP!!!!
The grand opening is on Tuesday the 14th of April in the town of Hyden in the shopping complex. When I read the opening date I got sooo excited because that is the day we are traveling down to Esperance so the girls and I plan to do a slight detour so we can go and see Karen and her amazing stock now displayed in a spacious gorgoeus shop.
I am so excited for you Karen! See ya soon!
